About Me:
My name is Michelle "Show Stopper" Balsai-Sims.
I was born March 11, 1996. I started asking my mom at
the age of four if I could learn martial arts. To make
sure I was serious she kept track how often I asked
and two weeks after my fifth Birthday I got the best
gift ever. I am now six years old and in the 1st grade.
I like Math the most right now and reading is a close
second, "The Junnie B. Jones Series" and "The
Scooby Doo Mysteries" are my favorite books to
read. My mom is Tina-Marie Sims (she works behind the
counter with Miss Jaylene), I have two cats Yobo (A
very, very big soft black tabby) and Zeus (a getting
big Siamese). I enjoy riding my bike, scooter, skateboard,
and roller blading. I very much want to learn how to
snow board. I am also learning to swim. I like anything
Scooby-Doo. My favorite meal is Steak (rare, please
and thank you), steamed rice, sweet corn, french bread
with real butter and a big glass of chocolate milk.
My favorite foods are, chocolate pudding, applesauce,
ice-cream, french fries and schezuan chicken. Some of
my favorite movies are The Austin Powers series, Monsters
Inc, Gone in 60 Seconds. My favorite color is blue.
I appreciate Miss Jaylene for keeping me in supply
of chocolate pudding, applesauce, picking me up from
school, helping with my homework and making White Dragons
my home away from home. My private instructor, Sensei
Mike, has given me the ability and driving force in
Traditional Forms to live up to my name of "Show
Stopper". Sensei Jeff (The ONLY person who does
or can call me "Little Miss") has made the
Bo my weapon of choice. Thank you both for giving
me the confidence to compete and everything else you
do. All the black belts are like big brothers
to me, and for some reason my mom smile and says "I
will never have a date." Thank you to everyone
at WDOB.
