Martial Arts history:
I became a student of martial arts because I wanted
to learn basic self defense. I developed a great love
for the art and an increasing drive for further knowledge.
I have achieved my first degree black belt in A.K.K.I.
Kenpo, and currently pursuing the original Ed Parker
System as well as the requirements outlined in the White
Dragons of Bushido system.

Awards and Achievements:
Over the years I have been privileged to attend multiple
seminars and international training camps to certify
me as an instructor. I have also acquired my first level
club certification through the AKKI. Recently, I attended
my first tournament at the 2002 Golden Gate Nationals
in San Francisco, CA. With much apprehension prior to
the competition, I place second in the self defense
division. On a personal note, martial arts has given
me a greater self confidence and a desire for greater
knowledge and to be able to achieve any goal.
About Me:
I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. I am the youngest
of two children. I enjoy science fiction and fantasy
movies. I am in love with all kinds of junk food, especially
chocolate and cheese cake. I learned tap dancing and
jazz for eleven years, in addition to one year of gymnastics.
My time these days is spent between martial arts and
my job, which keeps me very busy. I just want to take
a moment to thank everyone associated with WDOB for
welcoming me into your school and allowing me to be
a part of this wonderful family. It is my privilege
to be associated with this fine school. To Shihan
I want to say a special thank you for all of his support,
words of encouragement, his patience with me and most
of all his friendship.
