Chuck
Norris, the founder of Chun Kuk Do, was a Tang
                  Soo Do & Tae
Kwon Do trained Martial Artist before developing his own
style in the late 1980's. So respected is Mr. Norris in the
Martial Arts world that he was awarded the title of Grand Master
                  8th Degree in Tae
Kwon Do (a feat that few other westerners in history have
ever accomplished). He belongs to that elite group of Martial
Artists whose name alone lends credibility to any form he practices.

Chun Kuk Do came into being in the same way that most new styles
are birthed, from a desire to build a more complete Martial
Arts system. Mr. Norris took his base in Tang
Soo Do and added elements of several other styles, including
Jujitsu. The result? An art that applies to the spectrum of
self-defense situations but does not exclude any other form
of Martial Arts training. But Chun Kuk Do is more than just
a fighting style. It is a way of life.
Its founder set out 12 points by which he lives his life. These
have become the Code of Ethics adhered to in all Chun Kuk Do
                  schools:
