| Taiji Kase
Japanese karate pioneer and instructor. Kase was one of the first high-ranking Japanese karate teachers to instruct in Europe; he opened a dojo in Paris as a branch of the JKA. He studied with Gichin Funakoshi, the father of Japanese karate-do, and his son, Yoshitka Funakoshi. |
