Martial Arts history:
My Martial Arts history started in the beginning
of February, 2002 under the instruction of Sensei Lee
Byrd of Pacifica, California. I felt I needed more physical
exercise than what I was getting and decided to take
up martial arts as my new hobby or interest. In June,
2002 I moved from San Francisco, California to Salt
lake City, Utah and began training under the instruction
of Shihan Ron Bennett and Sensei Mike Tobin. The first
tournament I competed in was All Star Karate Challenege
on July 27, 2002 in which I took 3rd in sparring and
4th in weapons. I hope to compete in many more tournaments
in the future.
